Great accommodation for going on various hikes. Overall it is very quiet and less busy than at the well-known points...We enjoyed it. The food in the hotel is OK. However, there is a great restaurant near Lavrador.

Awesome little town and best hotel in the area I can find! Very comfortable and helpful staff! Shame I didn’t have time to try their Turkish bath room! Breakfast was a spread! And easily walkable downhill and back up (about 2 miles) to the beach restaurants of São Vicente

Nice hotel with pool, balcony and parking in Sao Vicente. A good base for exploring the northern part of the island. Very good sweet and salty breakfast, fresh fruit and vegetables. Calm and quiet neighborhood.
It's a pity that there is no small fridge in the room.

Well what can I say firstly beautiful views. You must get a room with a view. Stunning backdrop. If your after a bar drinking holiday this is not for you. It's in the middle of nowhere which is what I wanted really.A chilled holiday by the pool.A car is a must.The walk to Sao Vicente is a lovely stroll downhill and downhill and downhill again but lovely.Staff here at the hotel were great Breakfast great.Room could do with a kettle. You have to pay for safe we didn't bother. So getting back to the hotel from the coast is a challenge in itself.not many taxis about in October but we managed to find an x pat English guy taxi driver who helped us out and the hotel did to aswell having to get a taxi from another village. The fish restaurant near by is excellent i forget the name hotel will tell you.small little Portuguese bar next door very nice lady owner open hit and miss. Overall a nice chilled stay in a remote area of Madeira. Hotel and staff very nice.but you need to be fit to climb those hills. Enjoy hope this review helped.

Personel bardzo miły. Pokoje wymagają generalnego remontu. Dywany nadają się do utylizacji. Na plus to, że pokoje codziennie sprzątane. Drzwi na balkon z dużą szparą i się nie domykają. Śniadania bardzo słabe, wszystkiego bardzo mało, mały wybór, szynki i sery najgorszej jakości. Basen nie jest ogrzewany. Bardzo cienkie ściany, wszystko słychać z zewnątrz. Polecam wybrać lepszy hotel i niech was nie zmyli definicja wielu osób, że jest to "dobra opcja wypadowa". Madera jest na tyle mała, że z każdego miejsca wszędzie szybko dojedziesz.
